PRIVACY NOTICE FOR THE CAST WEBSITE
The Coalition to Abolish Slavery & Trafficking (Cast) places a high priority on protecting your privacy. This privacy policy was created in order to demonstrate Cast’s firm commitment to the privacy of our website users. This policy explains what types of information is collected by Cast’s website, www.castla.org (referred to as “Site” for the purpose of this policy), and how this information is used. We follow industry best practices to help secure your data, including encryption and firewalls.

INFORMATION CAST COLLECTS AND HOW WE USE IT
Your Contact Information is collected when you sign up for one of Cast’s newsletters or email communications. Contact information includes your name and email address. This information is used to provide newsletter communications or other relevant communications to you, should you opt-in to receive it.
Your Donation History is used for accounting and invoicing; tracking your donations; and thanking you for your contributions. We do not store your credit card information, and credit card payments are routed through payment card industry compliant third-party payment services.

We require these service providers by contract to safeguard the privacy and security of personal information they process on our behalf.
Necessity. Cast will disclose your personal information as necessary to protect your vital interest, protect the vital interest of another person, protect public safety, respond to government requests, and report information as required by law.
