The Provider Perspectives Study

What is the Provider Perspectives Study?

The Provider Perspectives Study explores antiviolence professionals’ insights on service needs, policy, and other issues that affect survivors of human trafficking, sexual assault, and domestic violence. We want to learn from you as an individual expert, rather than as a representative of your organization. Having previously conducted an initial pilot study in California, we are now conducting a national survey.

If you work in the anti-trafficking, anti-domestic violence, or anti-sexual violence field, we want to hear from you! If you work in a closely related field, such as harm reduction or housing/houselessness, we want to hear from you, too!

Why should I participate?

Providers are experts in the antiviolence field, but are rarely recognized as such. In this time of shifting policies and changes to the funding landscape, it’s more important than ever to learn from that expertise. This project will explore and elevate providers’ insights on what is and isn’t working in the field. Findings will be made freely available through materials such as factsheets and videos, all of which will be posted on Cast’s website.

What will participation involve?

Participants will complete a 15-minute, anonymous survey about their experiences and perspectives.

Once you’ve completed the survey, you will have the option to do a follow-up interview over Zoom. You can choose to complete an interview with Dr. Ethan Levine, Research and Evaluation Manager at Cast; or Dr. Syeda Hadi, Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at Stockton University. Our bios are below.
