Amy Nguyen

Director of Empowerment Programs

Amy is a community advocate with over 13 years’ experience in program management, monitoring and evaluation, and strategy in the humanitarian response and anti-trafficking fields. Amy leads Cast’s social services, housing, and research and evaluation programs, supporting survivors through supportive services and greater learning within the anti-trafficking movement.Previously, Amy worked at Relief international (RI), where she designed and led programs for communities displaced by armed conflict and natural disaster. She led the development of global performance measures for RI’s work in over 16 countries. Her field work has included assignments in Sudan, Bangladesh, and Myanmar. In Myanmar, Amy served as the Head of Programs in Rakhine state, where she oversaw programs in anti-violence, health, water and sanitation, and economic development. Amy has a BA in Political Science from Williams College and a Master in Public Administration from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies with a concentration in Monitoring, Evaluation and Design.
